Thank you all for your interest in our sheep! As demand for our animals has continued to rise over the past couple years, we felt it necessary to publish our newest purchase policy for our buyers. We have had dozens of e-mails, Facebook messages, and inquiries  so we thought it would be helpful to explain our expectations from a sellers perspective, and how we typically handle sales at our farm.
We will start posting photos on our Facebook page and right here (under 2018  Lambs tab) once lambs become available, and we operate on a first-come first-serve basis. We will post photos once we feel lambs are growing well, have had their tails docked, tagged, and vaccinated. Our aim is to make sure we do not offer anything that isn’t the highest quality to our customers, as we want our time, effort, and quality genetics to speak for themselves– and we want to make sure we have satisfied customers.

Folks typically message us or call us if a lamb peaks their interest (we will list tag # or other identification on each photo posted), and they are welcome to arrange a time to come to the farm to see the animals for themselves, or may choose to purchase based on photos alone (all on first-come first-serve basis). Unfortunately we have had issues in the past with folks that have taken advantage of us—so we have now put some new requirements in place to protect ourselves. If purchasing an animal, we do require 50% of the purchase price as down payment/ non-refundable deposit per lamb (but will go toward the purchase price of the lamb) to hold animals for purchase. The remaining 50% may be paid upon pickup/ delivery of the animal. If dealing with long distance buyers, we accept checks to hold lambs– but the check must clear first (we will hold the lambs for a reasonable amount of time to receive checks by mail, and for the bank to clear checks). All lambs must be paid in full before leaving the property by either cash or checks– but checks must first clear. We know that a majority of the folks we deal with are very kind, truthful individuals— and we desire to go back to the days when a handshake is all that was needed for a business deal. However, a few bad eggs have caused us to implement new purchase requirements.

If a registered breeding animal is purchased, we will either send in the paperwork for you and mail you the registration papers at a later time, or we will sign off on the paperwork and you can send it in—- it is the buyers choice.
We typically offer discounts on multiple lamb purchases, and we also know that each buyer’s situation is a bit different so we are willing to work with you on a case-by-case basis. We have made exceptions to these rules based on certain circumstances, and seek the satisfaction of our buyers– so please feel free to message us if you have any questions or concerns regarding our purchase policy; we are happy to work with you.
****PRICES MAY BE ADJUSTED AS WE OBSERVE HOW LAMBS ARE GROWING. WE WILL HONOR ALL CURRENT PRICES LISTED BY PHOTOS AT THE TIME OF INQUIRY. CHECK THE PHOTOS OFTEN FOR UPDATES.****
Thanks for stopping by!
Sincerely,
Nicholas, Whitney, Deborah, Eli, Ellie & Elliott Poling
